I’m always on the lookout for something really fabulous and not so main-stream.
Something that is fun with a high design level.
For sure meeting people is one of the things I love best and meeting Chiara from Rome has been amazing.
A wonderful photographer and a very stylish person she came up with “Trompé”:
A line of easy to wear, easy to manage, and right for all seasons (which is what I try to do for all clothing on theconceptdresser)Tshirts and dresses.
Sexy lovely and in such great taste.
So check it out now on the store!!!
I’m a terrible promoter, but seriously it’s so great. I’m in love!

It seems in the same spirit:
large noisy (even polluted), but fun and amazing city for us urban nomads.
On the pavement a little garden very designy yet natural and enticing.
Just makes you (me) want to buy everything and redesign my house in the bohemian-chic way,
so natural and colourful, it goes with my (imaginary) bamboo furniture
and my (wishful) all organic straight from the farm meal,
served on hand made pottery dishes.
Finding grunge in Paris should not be taken for granted.
Chic Paris : easy peasy
Bourgeois Paris : no problem at all
Classic Paris : only stating the obvious
And the same goes to cultural, artsy, elegant and historic.
for grungy and edgy, you have to know where to go, research must be dome, homework prepared, a plan must be made.
Coming soon on theconceptdresser, a very cool black shirt with an amazing 70′s collar, inspired by an all times favorite shirt of my father’s from the 70′s, evidently.
Plus how can you beat that “Tony Soprano chic”?
It’s grey and dark and industrial, and drizzly half the time.
It’s old and heavy with it’s monarchy and days of the empire.
But it’s also light and lively and buzzing with creative energy that’s hard to explain.
If you’re loving the galabia, (how can you not to) then it’s important that you know the in the same spirit of things, I have something else up my sleeve.
If you’re loving the “feel good” style, then after the galabia, the sweatshirt with the date tree painting is not something you can brush off, as “just another sweatshirt”.
This is the short short version of a life long search for the perfect cool and creative type of clothing.
From an early age to adulthood, with constant development of design senses and sensibilities, dropping on the way, the need for endless tiresome details.
The Galabia re-visited, a.k.a the Urban Galabia is the result of this quest!
It’s the time of year when there are plenty of holiday cheer movies on TV, and you gotta wonder if there are actual live people prancing around with a Xmas jumper.

Cris Andrea (what can I say, love that name) and ice cream

Make sure you have a friend, and of course you can always make one.
These Italians are just so friendly and always willing to engage in conversation.
Wouldn’t you say that there’s no telling apart fashion and styles?
I’m tired of commercial deserts and chocolates which seem to always taste the same.
Air port coffee
You say THECONCEPTDRESSER you say coffee.
You could mistakenly think that Milano is just a boring industrial business city, and you couldn’t be more wrong.
Paris is Paris. But the most fun, no doubt is to visit during a period of a fashion exhibition, fashion week… etc. Read more…
Don’t miss out on beautiful Monti.
After you have enough of the Colosseum and the Spanish steps or piazza Navona swamped with hordes of tourists, when you’re tired of standing in line to enter sites and museum, you should head out to Monti, which is really the place to hang out if you’re looking for something more bohemian and casual.
A place where I’d like to think I would be living or at least some of my friends.
It is my
holy quest, to find in every city, and there is certainly on in every city, the neighborhood which holds on to it’s original character while mixing with new comers who bring novelty and art and poetry.
Monti is the place where you still see small stores and workshops, where they work the materials in the old traditions. Such is the leather workshop where father and sun work the leather with love and attention.
Just a little further is a design store, and a few meters further, a side-walk cafe.
Take your time feeling the vibe…

Xocoa in Barcelona: this is the most designy chocolate I’ve ever seen. Every bar of chocolate is a T-shirt. Just remembered I kept an early 90′s T’shirt of the X-files. Hope the cut is good.
I know where Santa lives, and here are just some of the things he’s going to find on my (wish) list, when he recieves it it the mail:
Something Japanese, anything, a scarf, a tshirt, a trip…
Doc Marten’s forever
still working on the rest
Life IS an adventure, and what we wear helps us experience it better.
Could this be anywhere else?
So the question that comes to mind, should we, or shouldn’t we be wearing union jacks, rolling stones symbol, or the David Bowie’s flash?!!!
How come, regardless of the overdose, it always seems like a good idea to wear a “so London/60′s/70′s/ Carnaby street style” T’s, sweats, shirts, accessories… and the list goes on?!.
These are just questions I’m sending into the void.
This is just a perfect example of how, we just do what we can*.
Heavy religious restrictions?
No worries, just (evidently) do it!
*Personaly I thought this was an excellent outfit
Not a fashion but a classic

or at least to a luxurious spa.
